Agreement to terms

By accessing or using TripRêve (tripreve.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and the TripRêve Team, based in Taiwan.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this site. By using TripRêve, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Intellectual property

Original content on TripRêve — including articles, design elements, logos, and the TripRêve brand — is the property of the TripRêve Team or used under license. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Many of the photographs and illustrations used on this site are sourced from free-license stock platforms such as Unsplash and Pexels, where photographers make their work available for free use. Those photographs remain the property of their original creators and are credited where required by their licenses. Other photos may be original or used under specific permissions.

• Quote up to 100 words from any article with proper attribution and a link back to the original

we respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on TripRêve infringes your copyright, please send a notice to contact@tripreve.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material on TripRêve that is claimed to be infringing (URL preferred)
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Valid notices will be reviewed promptly. Counter-notices may also be submitted by users whose content is removed.

Termination

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the site for any user who violates these Terms, without notice. You may stop using the site at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict of law principles. Where applicable, your local consumer protection laws may also apply if you are accessing the site as a consumer.

Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises between you and the TripRêve Team, we encourage you to contact us first through the contact form — most issues can be resolved informally.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of TripRêve shall be resolved in the courts of Taiwan, unless otherwise required by your local consumer protection law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and TripRêve regarding your use of the site, superseding any prior agreements.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Material changes will be announced via a site banner for at least 30 days before taking effect.
